5th Anniversary Membership Meeting Minutes August 8, 2006 A special thanks goes out to all those who were able to come celebrate our 5th Anniversary with us last night! We had a great turnout from the state (including President Tony), the national Jaycees (Garrett McNally), and the North region, as well as Mayor William Mcleod and IL State Representative Terry Parke. Thanks also to Cathy Steiner, who photographed the entire evening. Look on the website soon for pictures from this event. And welcome to new members Vishal and Mansi, who joined at the meeting! Mayor McLeod spoke about the Jaycees and the impact on the community. He presented a plaque to the HE Jaycees and declared Friday, August 11th as Hoffman Estates Jaycees Day! Representative Parks spoke about being a Jaycee and how it contributed to his career. He emphasized that he is who he is today because of his involvement in the Jaycees. Isn't that great to hear?
