The 2008 COB/State Director is Erin Smith. She has served the Hoffman Estates Jaycees as President, Membership VP, Secretary, and Webmaster. She joined the Jaycees in 2000 in North Carolina to meet people and get involved in the community. There she served as Membership VP, Individual VP, State Director, Secretary, and Webmaster. She became a member of Hoffman Estates in 2005, and she has received several awards for her efforts, including the Robert L. Pleak Award for President of the Year, North Region President of the Month, North Region Officer of the Year for 2007 and An Outstanding Membership VP in Illinois for 2007. The Best Pizza Contest is her favorite project.
