The Hoffman Estates Jaycees will award up to two $500 scholarships to well-rounded high school seniors who live in Hoffman Estates. To be eligible, students must be residents of Hoffman Estates and plan to attend a trade school, college or university in the fall. The scholarship application can be downloaded from www.hoffmanestatesjaycees.org and must be submitted by April 30, 2017. The scholarship is based on merit, service and volunteering in the school or community.
“We are looking for future leaders and community-service minded individuals to build the future,” said Hoffman Estates Jaycees Chairman of the Board Evan Long. “Recipients will receive $500 that can be used for college books, a new computer or something else they need to prepare for their first college semester.”
