CPGs are due. Board News: Treasurer (Rob): We have to pay for the carnival, and we'll know more next month about how much we made. Community VP (Michelle): Relay for Life: Friday at 6:00 at Alexian Field - we will be doing luminarias until about 8:00; the Shelter, Inc. is still being planned COB/Newsletter (Mike/Joanne): The special edition carnival newsletter was put out over the weekend and given out at the carnival. If you have an article, get it to Mike or Joanne by the end of the month. Membership (Erin): Congratulations to Jennine, our newest member! There will be a bowling night on Sat., June 24th at 7:00 at the Poplar Creek Bowling Alley. Guests and children are welcome. The Schaumburg Flyers game will be on Sunday, July 30th at 12:05 p.m. The cost is $8.00 apiece, and kids can run the bases! We will be calling prospective members from the carnival. A new member orientation will be upcoming. New business: Potential fundraisers: Birdies for Charity-a penny a birdie; we can ask people to donate before July 8th; selling temporary tattoes at the Palatine Jaycees, Streamwood Jaycees' glow necklaces or snow cone booth at the Streamwood festival on July 28th; Regional jail bail out at the meeting. Tattoo booth - We decided to have a tattoo booth at the Palatine festival on Saturday and Sunday (July 1st & 2nd) - Kate will chair - if you can help, please e-mail Kate at hola8@aol.com.
