The Jaycees heard from Sue Kenley-Rupnow at the May meeting. She spoke on the government in Hoffman Estates.

Old Business:
Domino's Pizza cards - 16 buy one/get one free coupons - we can sell these cards for $10 each; some of proceeds go to charities

Schaumburg Township banquet - Hoffman Estates Jaycees received a plaque from Schaumburg Township!

Progressive dinner - Saturday, May 21
Invitations were sent out to current & prospective members for the progressive dinner on Saturday, May 21st. The first stop for appetizers & salads is at 2035 Colchester Ave. at 6 p.m., and the second stop is at 7:45 at Kate's house in Palatine. Dinner will be Italian. Carnival - June 9-12
We are sponsoring the carnival. If you are interested in helping, please respond to this e-mail or call Mike at 847-490-2972. The possibility of area restaurants donating gift certificates was discussed.

Golf outing - July 17
If you are interested in golfing, there will be a golf outing. We expect to have several teams. You can purchase tickets for $15. It starts at 1 p.m. E-mail Joanne at Joanne-rinaldo@motorola.com. The idea of sponsoring holes was discussed.

Dash to cure diabetes - May 29

Nametags and shirts might be purchased for use at the carnival.

The possibility of having a Mush softball tournament was discussed.
